Moreover, there was talk of a special State of Play appointment scheduled for August and this would seem in line with previous rumors.
“Other events for PlayStation 5 could follow in the coming weeks and months, and Sony is not expected to reveal every essential detail on the console » on this occasion.
The first reveal would be primarily a «Digital event to show games for its new generation PlayStation 5», according to “People with direct knowledge of the matter.”
The State of Play it could in fact be the ideal format for the presentation, and Sony has recently shown that it is particularly comfortable.
A presentation of the Direct-like line was held a few weeks ago to showcase the gameplay of Ghost of Tsushima, another is expected for 22:00 tonight and will be themed The Last of Us Part II.
We don’t know at this stage which games will be involved in the event, but there may be ample room for third-party titles as happened at the Inside Xbox in May.
