TURIN – The portfolio with which Fabio Paratici moves on the market is made of Mattia Perin, Cristian Romero, Miralem Pjanic, Mattia De Sciglio, Luca Pellegrini, Adrien Rabiot, Gonzalo Higuain… So many names and as many ideas (see field below), a bit like the pizzini that the black and white dg is used to keep inside his own passport. “It will take creativity,” Juventus market man announced in recent weeks. The facts are confirming that it was not a simple slogan. At the time of Covid-19, the cash to invest for reinforcements is scarce for everyone, even for the Italian champions. And so Paratici is working on the big goals, engineering himself on interlocking and exchanging players. The maxi-operation that is taking place in these days on the Turin-Barcelona axis (Arthur–Pjanic–De Sciglio, the details on the opposite page) promises to be the first of many puzzles. And a bit like in table games, there are the ones with the most pieces and the ones with the least. And above all if they try, but not all are completed.
