In Italy 98 other people died of consequences derived from coronavirus with the total reaching 33,229. Yesterday the figure was 70. That’s what the Civil Protection Department said in bulletin today Friday 29 May. The total of today’s deaths (33,229) is greater than 87 compared to yesterday’s total (33,142) from which, however, 11 previously reported victims must be subtracted, which cannot be classified as Covid-19.Of the 98 more victims, 38 were registered in Lombardy, 13 in Piedmont (of which 11 from recalculation of the previous days), 8 in Emilia Romagna, 8 in Veneto, 13 in Lazio (of which 5 from recalculation of the previous days), 7 in Liguria, 4 in Puglia, 2 in Tuscany, 2 in Abruzzo, 1 in Umbria, 1 in Campania, 1 in Calabria. Zero dead in Molise, Basilicata, Marche, Sicily, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Sardinia, Valle d’Aosta, in the autonomous provinces of Trento and Bolzano.

(The Marche Region communicates a recalculation of the deaths. 11 previously reported deaths that are not classifiable as Covid-19 are therefore subtracted from the table)

With over three thousand fewer swabs (today 72.135) the infection compared to yesterday drops by 77 units with 516 more positive cases including 354 in Lombardy and 56 in Piedmont, the two most affected regions. Behind them Emilia Romagna with 38 cases followed by Lazio with 16 (of which only 3 in Rome), by Liguria with 14 and Campania with 10. Low numbers in the rest of Italy with fifteen regions below the ten daily positive, even thirteen under five and six stopped at zero altitude: Basilicata, Calabria, Valle d’Aosta, Umbria, the autonomous province of Bolzano, and Abruzzo.

With 2,240 healed (or discharged) more, the number of people currently positive for Covid in Italy falls by 1,811, reaching 46,175. There are 475 ICU patients, 14 fewer than yesterday (data unchanged in Lombardy) and 7,094 hospitalized with symptoms, 303 fewer.

TODAY’S BULLETIN

Covid-19 cases in Italy since the beginning of the emergency are now 232,248 (516 more than yesterday), of which 33,229 died and 152,844 recovered, 2,240 in the last twenty-four hours. The number of currently positive in our country is 46,175 people, yesterday it was 47,986, a decrease of 1811 units.

The swabs made to date are 3,755,279, 72,135 on the last day. The number of people actually tested is 2,368,622. Recall that each person can be subjected to more than one tampon.

There are 475 ICU patients, 14 fewer than yesterday. Of these, 173 are in Lombardy (unchanged data). There are 7,094 inpatients with symptoms, 303 fewer, and 38,606 (-1,512) are in home isolation.

In detail – according to the data released by the Civil Protection -, the currently positive there are 22683 in Lombardy (-230), 5,658 in Piedmont (-414), 3,564 in Emilia-Romagna (-186), 1,849 in Veneto (-176), 1,255 in Tuscany (-125), 994 in Liguria (-151) , 3,163 in Lazio (-242), 1,352 in Marche (+6), 986 in Campania (-26), 1,283 in Puglia (-112), 410 in the autonomous province of Trento (-48), 1,137 in Sicily (-8 ), 323 in Friuli Venezia Giulia (-13), 770 in Abruzzo (-54), 154 in the Autonomous Province of Bolzano (-3), 31 in Umbria (-2), 190 in Sardinia (-10), 19 in the Valley d’Aosta (-4), 159 in Calabria (-11), 162 in Molise (-1), 33 in Basilicata (-1).

As for the victims, are in Lombardy 16,012 (+38), Piedmont 3,851 (+13), Emilia-Romagna 4,102 (+8), Veneto 1,906 (+8), Tuscany 1,031 (+2), Liguria 1,452 (+7), Lazio 721 ( +13), Marche 986 (the Region has communicated a recalculation of the deaths, therefore they are 11 less than yesterday which had been reported and which cannot be classified as Covid 19), Campania 411 (+1), Puglia 500 (+4 ), Autonomous Province of Trento 462 (+0), Sicily 272 (+0), Friuli Venezia Giulia 333 (+0), Abruzzo 404 (+2), Autonomous Province of Bolzano 291 (+0), Umbria 76 (+1 ), Sardinia 130 (+0), Valle d’Aosta 143 (+0), Calabria 97 (+1), Molise 22 (+0), Basilicata 27 (+0). Coronavirus swabs are 3,755,279 so far, up 72,135 compared to yesterday. The cases tested so far are 2,368,622.
