->nexi recorded one of the worst performances of the day at FTSEMib. At 12.05 the title of the payment company left 5.72% on the ground at 14.43 euros, after a stop due to an excess of a drop at the start of the session.
NEXI’s performance is determined by the decision of the controlling shareholder, Mercury UK Holdco, which communicated its intention to sell an amount of approximately 55 million shares of the payment company listed on the FTSEMib, equal to 8.8% of the share capital. The operation would take place through an accelerated book building reserved for institutional investors. According to reports from some press agencies, the shares were sold at a unit price of 14.2 euros.
