New Serie A calendar: starts on 20 June with the recoveries

MILAN – The decision has arrived on the new Serie A calendar after the stop for Coronavirus. It will start again between Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 June with the recoveries of the 25th day: they are Atalanta-Sassuolo in Bergamo, one of the cities most affected by the pandemic, then Verona-Cagliari, Inter-Sampdoria is Turin-Parma. The program for the 27th day will start on Monday 22nd. Also confirmed the prologue with the Italian Cup, according to government indications: final confirmed on June 17th and semifinals which, at this point, should take place on 13 and 14 June. The races are Juventus-Milan (1-1 first leg at San Siro) and Napoli-Inter (1-0 first leg for the Azzurri at Meazza). Today the Lega council and the assembly of the 20 Serie A clubs, by videoconference, met to discuss, among other things, the calendar of the last 12 Serie A days, plus the other four matches to be recovered.
