Opel, which plans to launch the new generation of Mokka for the first months of 2021, knows this well. The German carmaker’s work on its new SUV has also paid particular attention to the creation of the model logo, which alone looks like an element of completely new design of the car.
New Opel Mokka, the debut is approaching
Opel has only recently decided to design a new logo for Mokka, and has chosen, for the first time on its own car, to place it centrally on the tailgate under the legendary lightning symbol. It is characterized by great legibility, being clearly visible and above all not accompanied by further abbreviations such as versions or indications of the engine capacity (except for the electric variant, which sees the presence of the letter “e”). Opel Design Vice President Mark Adams explained: “The logo suggests the absolute precision of the new Mokka. The carefully crafted letters are stretched horizontally and are widely spaced to emphasize the width of the vehicle. The central location is coherent with the philosophy of the Opel compass, in which the key visual elements are arranged along the vertical and horizontal axis. Electric Mokka-e is defining a new era for the Opel brand. ”
