bonus metropolitan city bicycles Milan

Is the 500 euro bonus-bike (or scooter) for all residents of the Metropolitan City of Milan?
Maybe (but at the moment nobody can give a certain answer) the bonus of 1500 euros for the scrapping of cars that will start from 2021 may not be due, for example, to citizens branded, because perhaps it belongs only to the residents of the metropolitan belt of Milan who live in cities with more than 50 thousand inhabitants.

So in Cinisello, Rho and Sesto yes, in Bollate no.

Instead, the Ministry of the Environment officially confirmed that the 500 euro bicycle bonus is for all residents in the metropolitan city circle.

Excluding Saronno and Limbiate

So yes in Paderno, Bollate, Novate … no in Saronno and Limbiate.

A press release issued on the website of the Ministry of the Environment, which we report below, explains this.

“A contribution of up to € 500 for the purchase of bicycles, including pedal-assisted bicycles, and vehicles for electric micro mobility such as scooters, hoverboards and segways, or for the use of sharing mobility services.

How good mobility works

This is the “good mobility” which can cover up to 60% of the expenses incurred to purchase the vehicle or service …

The measure aims to encourage sustainable forms of transport that guarantee the right to mobility of people in urban areas in the face of the limitations on local public transport operated by local authorities to deal with the epidemiological emergency from COVID-19.

The good mobility is granted to adults over the age of 18 in the regional capitals, in the metropolitan cities, in the provincial capitals or in the Municipalities with a population greater than 50,000 inhabitants and will have retroactive effect: in fact, those who, having the requirements, have made purchases starting from 4 May 2020, the start day of Phase 2 “.

“To obtain the contribution – explains the Ministry – it will be enough to keep the expense document (invoice) and, as soon as it is online, access via SPID (Public Digital Identity System) credentials on the web application that is being prepared by part of the Ministry of the environment and also accessible from its institutional website.

As an alternative to the refund procedure, once the application is operational (within 60 days from the publication of the provision in the Official Journal) the mobility voucher can be used through a digital shopping voucher that the beneficiaries will be able to generate on the web application.

In practice, interested parties must indicate on the platform the medium or service they intend to purchase and the platform will generate the electronic shopping voucher to be delivered to authorized suppliers, together with the balance at your expense, to collect the goods or enjoy the identified service. These provisions will only remain in effect until December 31, 2020.
