In the world of modding Android la custom ROM currently most popular and widespread is certainly LineageOS, also because it offers official support to a large number of Android devices.
At the beginning of May the LineageOS team had to face a hacker attack directed to part of the servers where it hosts its software builds. On 3 May the servers of Salt, an open-source framework on which LineageOS uploads its builds, has been attacked using one vulnerability Note. The custom ROM development team reported that the attack did not violate private keys, source code and builds.

After the attack, the LineageOS team went back to work by implementing the support of version 17.1 of the ROM, the one based on Android 10, to new models of devices. There list in the following table:
Around 8PM PST on May 2nd, 2020 an attacker used a CVE in our saltstack master to gain access to our infrastructure.
We are able to verify that:
– Signing keys are unaffected.
– Builds are unaffected.
– Source code is unaffected.
