Ahmed al Mismari, spokesman for the self-proclaimed Libyan national army (LNA), led by General Khalifa Haftar, announced on his Facebook page that they had been restored by LNA air force technicians and returned to combat four fighter jets, after a long period of inactivity. The planes will be used in the battle against the Tripoli government. Al Mismari himself announces a series of airstrikes against “Erdogan’s militias” urging the population not to leave home.
