‘Killers of the Flower Moon’, Martin Scorsese’s next film will be Apple-branded


After the rumors circulated in recent months, it is (almost) official: Apple will bear the cost for the realization of ‘Killers of the Flowers Moon’, the new film by Martin Scorsese, which will work alongside Paramount: apparently, it will take between 180 and 200 million dollars to turn it over.The following feature film The Irishman, in progress before lockdown and supported dat Netflix, therefore, another giant will enter the major productions of Hollywood cinema: in recent months, Scorsese, struggling with a Paramount who was reluctant to bear the enormous production cost on his own, had launched an appeal to other companies to join game to finance the project. Killers of the Flower Moon is the adaptation of the book by David Grann which reconstructs the events related to life in Osage County, the reserves of the Native Americans of Oklahoma, in the early 1920s, when the discovery of an oil field was the cause of bloody disputes that caused many deaths and on which also came a federal agency which, over the years, became the current FBI.In the cast, as already known, two stars like Leonardo Dicaprio is Robert De Niro, loved by Scorsese, with a DiCaprio now in its sixth film with the great American director.
