A concert at the Quirinale and a visit to the country which was first declared a red zone at the beginning of the coronavirus emergency.
The President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, on June 2, on the occasion of the feast of the Italian Republic, will visit Codogno, a city in Lombardy where there was the first peak in Italy of contagions of the world pandemic.On the same day, the Head of State will deposit a wreath of flowers at the Altare della Patria.

On the evening of June 1, however, a concert will be held inside the Quirinale gardens with which the Head of State intends to remember the victims of Covid-19. It will be an open-air concert with no audience to respect security measures.
This year there will not be the traditional military parade in via dei Fori Imperiali, in Rome.


June 2, no military parade but a 5-day flight of the Frecce Tricolori

Yesterday, the planes of the Frecce tricolori meanwhile began their 5-day flight from Turin to Italian skies, also passing through Codogno.
