After discovering that Tocilizumab (the anti-artite drug) has postive effects in patients with Coronavirus, another discovery comes from Naples. Hydrogen peroxide could prevent infection. The research published in the Cambridge University’s international journal Infection Control & Hospital Epidemiology in the April 2020 issue was conducted by the AIAS Health Director of Afragola Armone Caruso and by the professor of Ophthalmology at the Federico II University of Naples, Antonio Del Prete . Hydrogen peroxide could be used as an oral antiseptic. How? Using it as a mouthwash or as an aerosol. “This provides us with the starting point for a therapeutic intervention window” explained Director Caruso. Photo credits @ Shutterstock
