Household spending already falling in the first quarter – Last Hour

(ANSA) – ROME, MAY 29 – Spending made by families in
Italy, on the territory, recorded a decrease in terms
cyclicals of 7.5%. A collapse that is particularly affected
the drop in purchases for durable goods (-17.5%), from
car to furniture. The decrease was also strong for goods
semi-durable, which includes clothing, (-11.4%). Down as well
the data relating to services (-9.2%). Much more contained the
downturn for non-durable goods, classification where they are
including food, (-0.9%). This is what emerges from the data
of Istat on the first quarter. (HANDLE).
