A small logo of Gran Turismo 7 appeared overnight in an advertising post by Next Level Racing, a company specializing in the creation of accessories for driving games licensed by PlayStation, suggesting that the game is coming in the 2020 to the PS5 launch but the company later denied having information about it.
The logo of Gran Turismo 7 was shown, in theimage shared on Instagram, alongside that of other games planned for this year, such as Dirt 5, Automobilista 2 and F1 2020, accompanied by a post asking “Which racing game do you expect the most in 2020?”
This obviously immediately triggered the rumors of a possible confirmation, not yet officially revealed, on the arrival of the new chapter of the series Polyphony Digital in 2020 at the launch of PS5, something which has already been included in several corridor rumors lately.
The Australian company has retracted the issue, however, given the fuss raised: “Our team realized that a recent post using a logo has been misinterpreted by the media and does not reflect any information in our possession, we deny having any information concerning the launch of GT7 “.
Next Level Games later removed the place with the offending image, apologizing to everyone. However, many continue to think that the removal may have been an act due to having broken an NDA and having unveiled the logo ahead of time, therefore the idea remains that Gran Turismo 7 is already in an advanced state of development and foreseen as launch game of PS5, but of course we are always in the realm of rumors.
Already a year ago there was talk of the possibility that Gran Turismo 7 was expected to be released on PS5 at launch, while the only official mention recently received comes from Kazunori Yamauchi, who simply said last summer that Gran Turismo 7 will celebrate the story of the series.
