Despite the ban on remembering in the square, the state police, in agreement with the Ministry of Education, wanted to remember the 28th anniversary of the Capaci massacre in which the judge lost his life Giovanni Falcone, his wife Francesca Morvillo, and the escort agents. For the occasion, the task was entrusted to Roy Paci and to the singer-songwriter Giuseppe Anastasi to create a piece, focused on the feelings of hope, rebirth and sharing. The song is titled “We are capable” and brings together many Sicilian voices together for the first time in the collective C.I.A.T.U. Collective Independent Artists of the Trinacria Uniti. An increasingly fair, ever stronger, ever more aware, ever more confident Sicily. This is the hope sung loudly by the artists of the island. THE proceeds from sales part of the unpublished piece will be donated to some schools in difficult neighborhoods in Palermo and part to the Free Association, to be used for educational projects for young Sicilians.
