GB: quarantine from June, fine 1000 pound – Last Hour

(ANSA) – LONDON, MAY 22 – The quarantine will start from June
for anyone arriving or returning to the UK from abroad,
with or without coronavirus symptoms, announced by the government of
Boris Johnson since the past few weeks as a measure
precaution to avoid the risk of return infections from
across the border after the drop in the internal infection rate. The
British media anticipate today, stating that it is expected
a fine of 1000 pounds (over 1100 euros) for those who should
be discovered to violate self-isolation, which will last 14
days. The measure will apply for now for arrivals from
any country except Ireland, but will be reviewed every three
weeks. People arriving by plane, or with anyone else
half, they will have to leave the address at the border controls
of the place where they will spend the quarantine and a number of
telephone to which they can be found by the authorities.

Further details are expected in the afternoon by the minister
of the Interior, Priti Patel.
