The Spanish footballer would have refused the first renewal offer with the blue club. Real Madrid lies in wait for its purchase.

Madridist diary, newspaper close to the events of real Madrid, he writes about Fabian Ruiz. Real Madrid has been following him for some time, as has the Barcelona. According to reports from Iberian colleagues, the Andalusian talent would have refused the first renewal offer with the Naples, which would like to extend until 2025. This does not mean, however, that it can leave Campania cheap, on the contrary: its contract ends in 2023, it is true, but Aurelio De Laurentiis he does not intend to let him go for less than 100 million, an almost “impossible” figure for the post-Coronavirus market. Fabián knows that it will still be difficult to leave Naples, unless an exit clause with an “acceptable” value is signed in the new contract. And on this, at the moment, the Neapolitan club does not seem willing to give up.

The president of Napoli takes it for granted that news will come from Barcelona and Real Madrid, which are very interested in the player. If Fabian does not change his mind and confirms his intention not to renew, at that point – they say in Spain – he will be put on the market for 100 million, although after the Coronavirus pandemic a European club can be said to be satisfied even managing to sell its own card for “only” 60 million. Today the Barcelona, with the open fronts of Miralem Pjanic and Lautaro Martinez, in addition to Neymar’s ever-present dream, he cannot pay that amount, having to invest substantial sums on other objectives. At Real Madrid, on the other hand, they would be considering whether it is worthwhile to secure Fabián’s signature this summer instead of putting it off until 2021 when the economic situation of European football will start to normalize.
