Our graphic designers have imagined in this rendering what the final version will look like starting from the teaser released by Ford. The design it will be very similar to that of the current Puma in ST Line setting up, protagonist of our Why Buy It, apart from some details.
It is recognized by the details
From the outside it differs from the version from all those racing components typical of the ST such as the sporty design bumper, the increased alloy wheels, the side skirts, the rear spoiler and the double tailpipe. Inside, however, it can be recognized by the specific badges scattered around the passenger compartment, by the Recaro steering wheel and sports seats.
Three 200 HP cylinders
Under the hood should be placed the petrol engine of the Fiesta ST. It is about three-cylinder turbo EcoBoost from 1.5 liters capable of delivering 200 HP at 6,000 rpm e 290 Nm maximum torque between 1,600 and 4,000 rpm. The traction is only front and the gearbox is a six-speed manual.
We do not yet know the performance official, but just take a look at the numbers of the Fiesta ST to get an idea. The top speed reaches 232 km / h with an acceleration from 0 to 100 in 6.5 seconds, with the latter given that, for the Puma ST, it could be a little higher due to the extra pounds on the scale .
Compared to the Fiesta, this B-SUV will have one suspension tuning specifies that it should reduce the height from the ground by a few millimeters to contain rolling in curves to the full advantage of driving pleasure.
Taking into account that, at this moment, the most expensive Puma reaches 28,000 euros, we can imagine that the price of the ST variant will be around 32,000.
