Even the United Kingdom towards Huawei’s 5G infrastructure ban

Increasingly difficult times for Huawei’s business activities far from China. The British Prime Minister Boris Johnson it would have decided to reduce the number of Huawei products used in the expansion of the 5G network in the territory of Great Britain, up to arrive in 2023 at a complete replacement of all Huawei’s telecommunication infrastructure in the nation.
The indiscretion, reported by the Telegraph, would be further evolution of what was previously indicated during January 2020, the period in which Johnson had approved the use of Huawei infrastructure for its 5G networks although in the face of certain conditions including a maximum market share of 35% and the exclusion from some more sensitive installations from a geographical point of view .

We cannot keep the UK decision separate from the US administration’s policy, which in the past 12 months has led a strong opposition with Huawei citing the national security that would be endangered by the use of telecommunication infrastructure developed by this company.
For the moment, the address taken by the UK administration it does not seem to be shared by other European nations but it is not said, as happened for England itself now oriented to a complete ban of Huawei equipment for its 5G network.
