EU, Gentiloni: “750 billion recovery fund, unprecedented turning point” Italy’s highest share: 172 bln


Italy’s highest share – The Recovery Fund package proposed by the European Commission for Italy amounts to € 172.7 billion according to well-informed sources. Of this sum, 81.807 billion would be paid as aid and 90.938 billion as loans. These 172.7 billion proposed by the EU Commission for Italy represent the highest share destined for a single country. And this both in absolute terms and as regards grants and loans. Italy follows Spain, with a total of 140.4 billion, divided between 77.3 billion in aid and 63.1 billion in loans.
