EasyJet will cut thousands of jobs, equal to 30% of its employees, following the cut in flights and the drop in long-term demand as a result of the covid. The British company, the second largest European low-cost operator, will begin consultations with workers on cuts in the coming days, according to a note. EasyJet has around 15,000 workers, Bloomberg recalls, suggesting that 4,500 jobs are at risk.
