Dying Light 2 in the last phase of development, Techland will amaze with the release date

It has been a while since we have had no way of seeing action in action on Dying Light 2, and the recent rumors about development difficulties, later denied, have made fans worry.

These days Techland has intervened again to reassure all players. In an interview with The Escapist, Lead Game Designer Tymon Smektala stated that everything is proceeding according to plan: “The development of Dying Light 2 is proceeding according to our internal program which we revised earlier this year”. During the processing, in any case, some things have changed therefore, when it returns to show itself, Dying Light 2 could be different from how we remembered it. “The foundations have not changed since we started production. However, the natural process of each creative work involves the evolution of individual components. This affects factors such as optimization, improvements and the extension of some very promising elements.”

Smektala then confirmed that the development of Dying Light 2 has entered its final phase, and that now the team’s goal is to surprise us with the announcement of the launch date: “There is an entire team in Techland that is working on the announcement of the release date and all the information that will accompany it. I can say that they want to surprise the players, but I do not want to reveal anything else in order not to ruin anything either for them or for the community. The only thing I can say is: please trust us, it is the last phase of the project and we need your support.

We have the impression that we will be hearing about Dying Light 2 again very soon. We remind you that the game is currently confirmed on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
