Coronavirus, two new cases in Modena and one death – Company


Since the beginning of the Coronavirus epidemic, Emilia-Romagna has registered 27,611 positivity cases, 24 more than yesterday. 3,673 the swabs made, which thus reached a total of 297,854. There are 229 new healings (19,389 in total), while active cases continue to decline, that is, the number of actual patients who have now fallen to 4,146 (-213).
They register 8 new deaths: 6 men and 2 women. Overall, in Emilia-Romagna they reached 4,076. The new deaths concern 1 resident in the province of Modena, 5 in the province of Bologna (none in the Imola area), 1 in the Ferrara area, 1 in the Forlì-Cesena area (in the Forlivese area). No deaths among residents in the provinces of Piacenza, Parma, Reggio Emilia, Ravenna, Rimini and from outside the region. These are the figures – ascertained at 12 today – relating to the trend of the epidemic in the region.
People in isolation at home, i.e. those with mild symptoms, who do not require hospital treatment, or are symptom-free, total 3,573, -190 compared to yesterday. ICU patients are 80 (-2). Those hospitalized in the other Covid wards also decreased, falling to 493 (-21).
The overall healed people therefore rose to 19,389 (+229): 1,237 “clinically healed”, that is, they became asymptomatic after presenting clinical manifestations associated with the infection, and 18,152 those declared healed in all respects because they tested negative in two consecutive tests.

These are the cases of positivity on the territory, which instead refer not to the province of residence, but to that in which the diagnosis was made: 4,465 in Piacenza (1 more than yesterday), 3,478 in Parma (none more), 4,933 in Reggio Emilia (4 more cases), 3,899 in Modena (2 more)4,573 in Bologna (9 more); 393 positivity recorded in Imola (1 more case), 986 in Ferrara (none more). In Romagna, the positive cases reached 4,884 (7 more), of which 1,023 in Ravenna (3 more cases), 942 in Forlì (no more cases), 777 in Cesena (no more cases), 2,142 in Rimini (4 more).
