Coronavirus self-certification, goodbye from June 3 (but not to go to France)

As of June 3, the government has given the go-ahead for travel between the Italian regions, after months of blockade caused by the coronavirus emergency. The decision was made on the basis of the data of the monitoring carried out by the Istituto Superiore di Sanit and the Ministry of Health (which you can find here).

Therefore, the need to complete the self-certification forms also disappeared, until May 18 they were necessary to move within the city and regional territory (and that from May 18, and until Wednesday, are necessary to move between the Regions).

Thus ends, from Wednesday, the season of self-certifications which in several versions, according to the different decrees, accompanied the Italians.

Self-certification will continue to be necessary for anyone who wants to move to France. According to the rules of the French lockdown, travelers must have a signed declaration explaining the urgent need, such as an essential, cross-border work mission or accompanying a child to a parent in joint custody. (Here all the rules for travel, country by country).

Other prohibitions will remain in force in Italy: starting with that of assembly. Ten – the main ones – are summarized here.
