The number of new cases of Coronavirus in Lazio is stable: 28 positives were registered on Wednesday 20 May, of which 16 in Rome. Of the nearly 20 thousand serological tests performed throughout the region, only 2.17% were positive. The healed increase by 21 units.
“On Wednesday we record a figure of 28 positive cases in the last 24h while the number of people healed in the last 24h has grown by 21 units”. So the councilor for regional health, Alessio D’Amato, at the end of the usual videoconference of the regional task force for Covid-19 with the general managers of the ASL and hospital companies and university polyclinics and Pediatric hospital Bambino Gesù. D’Amato points out that “activities for serological tests for health workers and law enforcement agencies continue, the aim is to test, trace and treat”.
“On Wednesday morning – continues the councilor – 19,414 serological tests were carried out in Lazio, the presence of IgG was found in 422, equal to 2.17% in line with what we expected. Of these, 422 tested positive for drive-in swab in 9 and were asymptomatic, so we are talking about the most complicated cases to detect. Asl and Hospitals are preparing on the basis of the union agreement the payment of the ‘Bonus’ in the paycheck for the month of June for all those health workers who have been involved in the Covid emergency. An economic acknowledgment for the extraordinary work of the operators to whom our most sincere thanks go. ”
There have been 7 deaths in the last 24h, while the healed continue to grow, reaching 3,100 in total and the total swabs performed have been around 218 thousand.

Asl Latina – 3 new positive cases. 0 deaths. 23 people left home surveillance. Serology tests on general practitioners start on Saturday;
Asl Rieti – there are no new positive cases. 0 deaths. 668 serological tests performed: 8 positive for serological tests;
Asl Viterbo – 1 new positive case identified by an integrated method between serological test and drive in buffer. 70 people left home surveillance;
Sant’Andrea Hospital – 2 patients recovered. Serology test on State Police personnel started;
San Camillo Hospital – HIV seroprevalence tests concluded on health personnel: 1.5% positive. There were no new positives in accessing the emergency room;
San Giovanni Hospital – There are no new positives in access to the emergency room. 135 drive swabs performed in all negative results. 769 serological tests on healthcare personnel: 12 positive (1.5%): all swabs were negative;
Policlinico Umberto I – 75 hospitalized patients including 5 in intensive care. 2 patients recovered. 2259 seroprevalence tests performed: 11 were positive, waiting for the swabs. Today the seroprevalence tests on State Police personnel begin;
Policlinico Tor Vergata – 38 hospitalized patients including 4 in intensive care. 2 patients recovered. 2 deaths: an 84-year-old woman and a 47-year-old man, both with serious past illnesses;
Policlinico Gemelli – 68 patients admitted to Covid Hospital Columbus, 10 of whom are in intensive care;
Biomedical Campus Polyclinic – 21 patients admitted to the Covid Center Campus Biomedico including 12 in intensive care. 3 patients over eighty healed. Serological tests on health personnel completed: 0.9% positive;
