Pesaro, 22 May 2020 – The death toll related to the Coronavirus: have been killed three elders, twhich an 81 year old from Vallefoglia and an 87 year old from Pergola. The deaths recorded in the Pesaro area thus rise to 526. On the other hand, the epidemic curve of the Coronavirus continues to flatten out.

In the last 24 hours, a new positive was identified for every 125 samples analyzed, equal to 8 infected for every 1086. Two are from Pesaro. To understand how far we have gone compared to the containment of the infections, just go back to April 6, when there was a new positive for every 4 buffers processed, and precisely 150 out of 667.

This however does not mean that we can let our guard down. Indeed, in phase-2 the monitoring will be even more stringent and the trend of the epidemic will be measured with’Rt index, or the average of the secondary cases compared to a new positive.

A dynamic tool that, crossed with others, will help us understand how the virus moves on the territory and will decide the movements between the regions. The one relating to Marche indicated yesterday by the Higher Institute of Health is 0.48. Emilia Romagna has 0.46, the Lombardy 0.51.
