Coronavirus: Japan, 28 cases in 24 hours – Last Hour


(ANSA) – ROME, MAY 24 – Japan has registered 28 new ones
coronavirus cases and 12 deaths caused by the disease in
last 24 hours: the Ministry of Health of
Country, according to what reported by the CNN.

The balance of infections thus rises to 17,263 (including 713
diagnosed among the people on board the cruise ship
Diamond Princess), while that of the dead rises to 833 (of
including 13 relating to the Diamond Princess).

In Tokyo, two new cases have been registered, the most level
low since the entry into force of the state of emergency on the seven
last April.

The government is expected to lift the state of emergency tomorrow
in Hokkaido, Tokyo and three nearby prefectures.
