TORINO. Today, Thursday 28 May, the Crisis Unit of the Piedmont Region announced that there were 17,072 virologically cured patients, that is, negative results from the two tests at the end of the disease (+593 compared to yesterday): 1724 (+71) in the province of Alessandria, 815 (+27) in the province of Asti, 695 (+17) in the province of Biella, 1683 (+45) in the province of Cuneo, 1480 (+76) in the province of Novara, 8962 (+307) in the province of Turin, 740 (+31) in the province of Vercelli, 847 (+16) in Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, 126 (+3) from other regions. Another 3,463 are on the way to recovery, that is, negative to the first verification swab, after the disease and pending the outcome of the second.
There are 10 deaths of test positive people reported in the afternoon, one of which is currently recorded today (remember that the cumulative update data communicated daily also includes deaths occurred in the previous days and only subsequently ascertained as Covid deaths). THEthe total is now 3,838 dead Positive results for the virus, divided as follows on a provincial basis: 638 Alessandria, 233 Asti, 203 Biella, 367 Cuneo, 332 Novara, 1693 Turin, 209 Vercelli, 125 Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, as well as 38 residents outside the region but died in Piedmont.

The situation of contagions
30,445 (+58 compared to yesterday, of which 19 detected in the RSAs) have so far been positive for Covid-19 in Piedmont: 3,895 in the province of Alessandria, 1,806 in the province of Asti, 1,032 in the province of Biella, 2,759 in the province of Cuneo, 2,679 in the province of Novara, 15,527 in the province of Turin, 1,294 in the province of Vercelli, 1,109 in the Verbano-Cusio-Ossola region, 253 residents outside the region but in charge of the Piedmontese health structures. The remaining 91 cases are in the process of being elaborated and territorially assigned.
The other numbers
Intensive care patients are 64 (-4 compared to yesterday). 1058 inpatients not in intensive care (-60 compared to yesterday). There are 4,950 people in home isolation. The diagnostic swabs processed so far are 304,358, of which 168,670 negative results.
