BELGRADE (SERBIA) – La Red Star of Belgrade won today the 31st title of Serbian champion, the third in a row, after the 5-0 victory over Rad, another team from the capital. For the coach Dejan Stankovic it is the first title won as a coach. It is also the first title awarded in Europe at the time of Coronavirus. The conquest of the championship for the Red Star took place on the day when the first division championship (Superliga) resumed after a two and a half month interruption for the coronavirus pandemic. In the standings Stankovic’s team is at 72 points, no longer reachable from Partizan of Belgrade, second, in the three days that remain to play.
