Compared to yesterday, there was an increase of 5 new cases out of a total of 1441 swabs analyzed (0.3 percent positive out of the total). Yesterday (May 26) the positives had been 3 out of 1276 swabs analyzed (0.2 percent).
138 patients (-4 compared to yesterday) are hospitalized in non-intensive therapy (11 in the province of L’Aquila, 63 in the province of Chieti, 53 in the province of Pescara and 11 in the province of Teramo), 3 (unchanged from yesterday) in intensive care (0 in the province of L’Aquila, 0 in the province of Chieti, 1 in the province of Pescara and 2 in the province of Teramo), while the others 725 (-39 compared to yesterday) they are in home isolation with active surveillance by the local health authorities (17 in the province of L’Aquila, 140 in the province of Chieti, 492 in the province of Pescara and 76 in the province of Teramo).
In the number of positive cases are also included 400 patients died (unchanged from yesterday; 1969 discharged / healed (+48 compared to yesterday, of which 181 that from symptomatic with clinical manifestations associated with Covid 19, have become asymptomatic and 1788 that have resolved the symptoms of the infection and were negative in two consecutive tests).
The currently positive in Abruzzo (calculated by subtracting the number of discharged / healed and deceased from the total positive) are 866, a decrease of 43 units compared to yesterday.

The difference between the number of tests performed and the results is related to the fact that multiple tests are carried out on the same patient. The total also considers the number of exams taken and still in progress.
Of the total positive cases, 246 refer to the Avezzano-Sulmona-L’Aquila Local Health Authority, 821 to the Lanciano-Vasto-Chieti Local Health Authority, 1515 to the Pescara Local Health Authority and 653 to the Teramo Local Health Authority.
Today’s 5 cases refer 1 to the Lanciano-Vasto-Chieti Local Health Authority, 3 to the Pescara Local Health Authority and 1 to the Teramo Local Health Authority.
The data regards the taking charge of patients and does not necessarily coincide with their registry residence, as there are patients residing in a province who are being treated in a different provincial Local Health Authority. In addition, for clinical reasons, there are patients who have been transferred from one hospital to another, even in different ASL offices.
