A little elderly center, a little friends of the wall born in 1930. And now that shops, restaurants, gyms have resumed their activities, the Capitol has made a decision: there will be no “phase 2” for the elderly centers municipalities. Their gates must continue to remain closed. With an order, the mayor Virginia Raggi extended their closure until June 30th.
The directors of the Municipalities and the Local Police commands received a communication from the Social Policies Department of the Capitol: the letter informs the local authorities that it has been ordered that “the extension of the closure of the Senior Centers until 30 June inclusive». Still too dangerous for the contagion risk to open these facilities.
The municipal elderly centers have been closed since 6 March. On that date the mayor of Rome decided to temporarily suspend its activity until March 15 to allow for sanitization. Then, on the basis of the regional ordinances and the provisions contained in the various Dpcm, the mayor proceeded to extend the closure.
