Chuwi LarkBox – according to the manufacturer – the smallest Mini-PC in the world and it is getting a good audience success. The dimensions, as we previously wrote elsewhere, are similar to those of a lemon and despite this, 4K video resolution is supported. In addition, Chuwi has announced that improve performance system by replacing the Intel Celeron N4100 processor with the more powerful Intel Celeron K4115.
The small system will land on Indiegogo on June 23, and its price will be extremely competitive: $ 169, while for those who write now via e-mail they will be able to obtain an even more advantageous price.
Intel Celeron J4115 one of Intel’s most recent entry-level processors, and was launched in 2020. It reaches a 2.5GHz clock in boost mode with a slightly higher TDP to guarantee superior performance over time. LarkBox then uses an active cooling system with copper surface and silent fans, optimized to ensure longer lasting and stable performance even when the system is subjected to stress for long periods.
Here are some tests made with the system by the manufacturer:
- Single Thread: 191.9
- Multi Thread: 761.8
- GeekBench 4
- Single Core: 1825
- Multi Core: 5614
- Cinebench R15
- CPU: 261cb
- OpenGL: 13.77fps
Chuwi LarkBox: small and easy to carry
The dimensions are 61x61x43mm, so the system can be carried with one hand and can also be put in a pocket. So there is no lack of support for the VESA standard Chuwi LarkBox it can be hidden behind a PC becoming invisible in the environment. The system is therefore suitable for installation in the office, in a conference room, behind a 4K TV or combined with an advertising display, even of a very small size.
As we wrote above Chuwi LarkBox will be available on Indiegogo starting June 23 at a price of 169 dollars, with discounts up to 25%. All the details of the initiative at this address.
