Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition is still enriched with new content thanks to an additional Season Pass coming soon for the game, or the Season 5, containing others five characters additional and three further stages, thus demonstrating how Capcom has not yet finished supporting its fighting game.
We were indeed awaiting news arriving yesterday, as had previously been announced, but the fact that it is a fifth Season Pass takes quite by surprise, since many considered the support now ceased from the point of view of new content.
On the official blog of the development team, Capcom has instead confirmed that the support continues: while not communicating the details nor the exit date, said Street Fighter V Season Pass 5 will feature five new characters and three stages, waiting to find out what they are.
For the occasion, Capcom has also called a contest among the users to propose new clothes for the characters by July 21st, with the winners who will see their creations really on the Street Fighter 5 fighters, selectable directly in the game.
We therefore look forward to information more precise on the Season V of Street Fighter 5, especially as regards knowing which characters are destined to further enlarge a roster made up of 40 fighters. The game has meanwhile sold 4.5 million copies based on the latest financial data released by Capcom, which also showed that Devil May Cry 5 is at 3.5 million.
