A week after the great return, the Bundesliga is preparing to restart the engines again, ready to illuminate the fans around the world. It starts tonight, with a race far from trivial. The Olympiastadion – where Italy won the 2006 World Cup – is staged on Berlin derby: L’Hertha hosts theUnion with the aim of avenging the 1-0 suffered in November. It was since 1989 that the Olympiastadion did not host the derby. Not just any year, but that of the fall of the wall which then divided the western and eastern parts of the city. The hosts returned from 0-3 on the Hoffenheim pitch, while the guests fell at home against leaders Bayern Munich. Very hot derby also considering the ranking: Hertha, in fact, is only one point ahead (31-30). This evening, however, only the heart will count: the bourgeoisie host the proletarians with the sole purpose of canceling the defeat of the first leg, lengthening the ranking, but – above all – dominating the city.
