Bologna, 28 May 2020 – Finally we are back on the air. Although Marconi airport has always remained operational throughout this period of medical emergency, welcoming and assisting planes that brought sanitary machines, tons of masks and gowns for sanitary workers to precious regions, scheduled flights have been missing for many weeks now.

The good news comes from Air France which reopens commercial flights with Italy, and therefore also with Bologna, from Wednesday 10 June. The connection will be with Paris Charles de Gaulle, with different cadences: 1 flight the second week of June, 3 flights the third week of June, 4 flights the fourth week of June

“The European network is designed in such a way that as many flights as possible are connected to the intercontinental network of the Air France-KLM Group,” says the French airline. THE KLM flights from Bologna in Amsterdam will resume in the month of July.

Health measures

Mandatory mask and social distancing on board, sanitizing the seats and all surfaces inside the aircraft, air exchange every 3 minutes through an air filter system consisting of Hepa particulate filters, identical to those used in the operating rooms, capable of removing more than 99% of viral and bacterial contaminants. All the provisions imposed by the covid emergency are available on the Air France website:
