BioShock: The Collection is available from yesterday on Nintendo Switch and it will take a while longer for our review to arrive, so let’s try to understand how it turns the collection on the Japanese hybrid console.
THE video of gameplay published by ContraNetwork clarify our doubts: although all three games in the collection do not go beyond 30 fps instead of the 60 available on PS4 and Xbox One, the fluidity appears stable and the image quality is convincing.
In short, it seems that the developers have done a good job of conversion compared to the originals for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, although it is not clear which resolution is used on Switch, nor if it is a fixed or dynamic solution.
What is certain is that the owners of the Nintendo console should not miss this extraordinary trilogy, which as you know includes all three chapters of the series created by Irrational Games: BioShock, BioShock 2 and BioShock Infinite.
At the top of the news you will find gameplay and frame tests of the first episode, the other two below.
