Other aspects of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla have emerged from an interview in the new issue of Official PlayStation Magazine, in particular concerning the settlement management that will be constantly changing and will also require you to take some difficult choices.
The narrative director Darby McDevitt he spoke in particular of the settlement of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, which has a fundamental role in the new chapter since the search for a new home for the Vikings is in fact the main purpose that sets the events of the game in motion.
As expected, the settlement will function as a kind of hub and headquarters for the protagonist, where it will be possible to forge new weapons, enhance equipment, make new alliances and carry out some aspects of the story.
However, it will not be a static element but will occur in constant evolution, like a real more or less urban settlement of the time. Since various aspects of management depend on the player’s decisions, which also have direct consequences for the inhabitants, we will have to make unpopular choices.
“There will be some narrative lines that will overlap in this game, like the parallel screenplays of the movies. A story that will accompany us all the time will be the evolution of the settlement and the people who live there. As this grows, the problems also grow and as one of the leaders the protagonist will have to get involved, and there will be difficult decisions to make. ”
McDevitt didn’t go into much detail about it, so we can only imagine, for the moment, what it can be. Among the recent news on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla it has also emerged that Eivor will have a coherent personality and that inside the game there will also be the jokes between Vikings.
