Some scammers are selling, at 370 euros, a 128 MB USB stick that would have the ability to function as a shield against the “radiation” of the 5G antennas, on which buffaloes of all kinds have flocked, including links with the covid-19 pandemic.
The “5GBioShield”, this name – quite explanatory – was recently put up for sale in the UK at a price between 310 and 370 euros. This is the link to the official website of the “magic” USB sticks.
Sellers promise to take advantage of the “Quantum holographic catalyst technology” to protect people from 5G. “Big words” that say everything and nothing and, in fact, the key in question – as confirmed by an investigation by colleagues from BBC News – is actually a very common pen drive from 5 €, which has the only characteristic of having (only) 128 MB of storage space.
BBC News reports that the “5GBioShield” was recommended by a member of the Glastonbury Town Council’s 5G Advisory Committee. The city of Glastonbury, known worldwide as a guest of the annual Rock Festival, has requested a5G investigation for fears about health and safety. Fears that have also led to conspiracy theories, which then (mistakenly: radio waves do not transmit any virus, apart from computer science) connected 5G technology to the coronavirus. Here, just an external member of this Glastonbury 5G advisory board, Tony Hall, advocated the purchase of these “anti 5G” USB sticks.
A computer security company has ordered one of Hall’s recommended USB sticks to study its “quantum holographic catalyst technology”. After having it dismounted, the researchers found only a 128 MB stick. Probably a pen drive made in China and then regenerated, on which a simple adhesive was then applied.
This is how the sellers of the “5G shield” defend themselves against the microphones of BBC News:
We have a great deal of technical information, with numerous historical supporting researches – said Anna Grochowalska -. As for the cost analysis produced by your research, I believe that the lack of in-depth information will not guide you to the exact calculation of our expenses and production costs, including the cost of the IP.
