Democratic presidential party candidates are taking advantage of the final moments of the New Hampshire vote on Tuesday to run across the state and scramble for votes. But Manchester City is still awash with Republican armed with red hats that arrived last night at the huge rally at President Donald Trump – an impressive show of strength in the heart of New Hampshire’s big city.
Trump is surely the Republican candidate, but this is the second time he is choosing to hold a rally in the state just before Democrats are going to vote. He did so last week in Des Moines, just before the vote in Iowa. Here in Manchester, it was a particularly festive rally: the first ever since his acquittal in the Senate impeachment trial, but no less important for him – the first since the farce of the Iowa countdown.
