According to the information received from the Defense Industry Directorate, Turkey’s first indigenous aircraft carrier and a national war “Multipurpose Amphibious Assault Ship TCG Anatolia” was closer to the end of the construction work at Sedef Shipyard in Tuzla.
The construction of the ship, which was launched last year, is expected to be completed this year. Today, a new phase has been started in the construction works. After the completion of the main drive and propulsion system integration, TCG Anadolu was taken to the pocket dock prepared for itself for port test preparations.

Described as the flagship of the Turkish Navy TCG ANADOLU is 232 meters long and 32 meters wide.
With a height of 58 meters, Anatolia has a heavy cargo garage for heavy vehicles such as tanks, containers, and 410 square meters. Anadolu also has 6 F358, 4 Atak helicopters, 8 medium load helicopters, 2 seahawk general purpose helicopters and 2 unmanned aerial vehicles.
