Saudi Arabia, America and the Netherlands share the top spot in the Al-Ula race

The multi-track running race, which was held in the arms of the scenic nature “Ecotrell Al-Ula”, attracted more than 260 athletes from all over the world, and occupied the top positions in the three race tracks athletes from Saudi Arabia, America and the Netherlands.
The race came within the activities of the second season of the Winter Festival of Tantura, which is organized by the Royal Commission for the Governorate of Al-Ula, and through which it seeks to enhance the position of Al-Ula as an exceptional tourist destination for heritage, arts, culture and sports.
The race took place on 3 tracks, with lengths of 83, 45 and 10 km, and 139 men participated in the 10-kilometer course, and 125 of them managed to finish it, as Muhammad Madkhali from Saudi Arabia won, and in the women’s category, Meredith Bernie from America won first place, and she finished Saudi Arabia Sarah Abdul Latif second.
In the path of the 45-kilometer men, 90 athletes participated, and the Saudi Abdulaziz Al-Ghamdi won the first place, and in the women’s category, Floretti Rawi from the Netherlands ranked first. In the longest race track, which reached 83 km, 37 athletes participated, and it was only 17, and American Michael Wardian from America came first, and on the women’s level, his countryman, Amy Sproston, took the lead.
