In the night from Saturday to Sunday, the police made an official report against twenty young people who, contrary to the corona rules, had gathered for a party in a large holiday home in Manhay, in the province of Luxembourg. The young people came from Antwerp.
The police of the Famenne-Ardenne zone intervened around 4 a.m. to stop the party, the prosecution said. At that time, about twenty young people were still on site and some of the partygoers had already left.
The people against whom a PV was drawn up must pay a fine of 250 euros. For each of them there will be a judicial tail end, the public prosecutor’s office announced. The owner of the vacation rental will be questioned.
