Tejay van Garderen (32) renews at EF Pro Cycling

Tejay van Garderen will also represent the colors of EF Pro Cycling next year. The 32-year-old American announced this on his Instagram page. Van Garderen switched from BMC to manager Vaughters’ team at the end of 2018.
EF Pro Cycling has automatically offered a contract extension to riders who forfeited part of their salary this season, and who had an expiring contract. A proposal that Tejay van Garderen has also accepted. “Happy to announce that I will also be riding EF Pro Cycling in 2021,” the American reported on his Instagram page.
It will be Van Garderen’s twelfth season in the professional peloton. After finishing his promise period in the shirt of the Rabobank training team, he started his professional career in 2010 at HTC-Columbia. From 2012 to 2018, he competed for BMC, and since the beginning of last year he has been employed by Vaughters at EF Pro Cycling. In recent months, Van Garderen has combined the Tour de France and the Vuelta, each time in a serving role.
