A motorcyclist in his 50s was killed this morning (Saturday) in a car accident south of the outpost interchange, at the connection between Road 40 and Road 6, in the Kiryat Gat area. MDA medics and paramedics performed resuscitation on him, but were forced to determine his death on the spot.

MDA paramedic Nagyib Sane said: “When we arrived at the scene we saw the motorcyclist lying unconscious on the road while two doctors who passed by performed CPR on him, we continued with them the advanced tests and medical treatment but his injuries were very severe and finally we had to determine his death.”
Earlier this month, a 40-year-old man was killed in a car accident between a truck and a private vehicle on Route 90, between Kibbutz Lotan and Kibbutz Yahel. MDA medics and paramedics determined his death on the spot, and provided medical treatment to the passenger of the private vehicle, a 35-year-old woman in critical condition with head and lower limb injuries, and the truck driver, who is in a light condition.
On the same day, a person was killed and two other people were lightly injured in a car accident that occurred on Road 505, near the towers, between two Palestinian vehicles. MDA medical staff determined the death of the victim at the scene of the accident. The wounded were evacuated for medical treatment, and traffic examiners began investigating the circumstances of the accident.
