Thousands of Microsoft employees will move to a new campus in Herzliya that will unite Microsoft Israel, which has so far resided in Raanana and the research and development center in Herzliya. This is a strategic investment by Microsoft Global in the domestic market, with the scope of the project estimated at hundreds of millions of shekels.
This announcement comes after Microsoft announced the establishment of a new data center in Israel earlier this year. The new campus includes an innovation center to demonstrate the company’s technologies to customers and partners, a center for customer meetings and advanced laboratories for development people. The new building is the first office building in Israel to receive a standard LEED V4 GOLD Interior and exterior – an international ranking for the certification of sustainable and environmental buildings. The structure covers an area of about46 One thousand square meters, which includes three and a half dunams of garden and eight dunams of open space.
