“Sometimes I find it difficult to stay positive,” says the 52-year-old Kylie against the BBC. “I had such a moment during the first lockdown. I must confess that it was really difficult at the time. If I hadn’t been able to work on my album, I might have been destroyed. ”

From her living room, Kylie recorded her new album Disco on, which came out Friday. The record offers her fans the opportunity to escape reality for 40 minutes, she says. “This year it’s often about connection, or the lack of connection, so it really motivated me to create something that is meant to reach people.”
