Early on Wednesday, November 18, the MediaMarkt sent emails to buyers of a PS5 from the first batch. In the mail, the retailer writes that the package, containing a PS5, will leave their warehouse on Wednesday. The mail also contains a track & trace code, with which you can easily track the package. So right on time!
“Hello. Thank you for your purchase! You definitely want to receive your new gem as soon as possible … So we have good news for you! Your order will leave our warehouse today. Your purchase contract with MediaMarkt is now valid . “
In addition to the Dutch and Belgian branches of the MediaMarkt, German buyers also receive shipping confirmations from their PlayStation 5.
The PS5 will logically not be delivered until Thursday (November 19). Then is the official day of release for the PlayStation 5. Several Dutch retail chains are already through their PS5 stock at the time of writing.
It is clear that the PlayStation 5 is scarce. PS5 pre-orders are sold out immediately at almost all online web shops, although Amazon EU still has new stock on launch day. If further stocks are to be replenished, you can read this in our PS5 pre-order overview on the website. Unfortunately, we have to inform you that the new stocks are almost non-existent. If you have not been able to get a PS5 pre-order now, it will unfortunately be a long wait before you can get your hands on the console. Read our extensive review of the brand new Sony console here!
