RSC Anderlecht brought back a club icon with ex-striker Luc Nilis. The former top striker is allowed to work for Sporting for a few weeks, but he hopes to continue that internship period.
With his expertise as a former top striker, Anderlecht hopes that Luc Nilis can make a difference in terms of finishing and other offensive impulses. Nilis was previously successful as a striker coach at PSV Eindhoven, and until recently he worked for the Turkish Ankaragücü. So now he is back in Belgium.
Although it was close to whether Nilis had already started in the Jupiler Pro League, but not at Anderlecht. The last news knows that Nilis already flirted with Club Brugge before his adventure in Turkey. In the end, the current national champion did not take a break, but Anderlecht – and especially sports manager Peter Verbeke – does.
