The Southern District Attorney’s Office today (Sunday) filed an indictment in the Beer Sheva District Court against Nissim Azizov, 43, who rented a house in Mitzpe Ramon and established a drug growing laboratory there. In the drug lab he set up, the defendant grew about 255 seedlings of a dangerous drug of the hemp type, with a total weight of about 82 kg.
According to the indictment, in order to set up and maintain the drug lab, the defendant was equipped with humidity measuring devices, fertilizers, fans, an irrigation system, an electrical system and lighting fixtures. In order to turn on the lighting and electrical products in the drug lab, the defendant connected electricity in a pirated manner that bypassed the electricity clock, thus stealing electricity.
The indictment attributes to the defendant committing offenses of growing and producing a dangerous drug, possession of a dangerous drug not for personal consumption, and more.
The prosecution seeks to detain the defendant until the end of the legal proceedings against him.
