After the game has been postponed three times, it’s no wonder Cyberpunk 2077 is still thought not to be released on December 10th. Developer CD Projekt Red therefore wants to reassure that December 10th is really the date on which the game will be released.
In the ‘Q3 earnings report’ the date of December 10, 2020 is mentioned several times. The date appears four times in the ‘Q3 financial statement’. In addition, the date will get two separate images during the presentation to the investors and CFO Piotr Nielubowicz refers to the date in a special video.
“The final stretch before release requires massive dedication and collaboration from the entire team. That’s all even more difficult now as the vast majority work from home. Together we are the biggest project we’ve ever worked on finishing. For weeks Cyberpunk will be with gamers all over the world. “
It’s no surprise that we get these confirmations. Our American colleagues got a second hands-on preview, physical games are “available” and the first gameplay has been leaked. CD Projekt Red also confirmed the date to IGN when rumors of another delay surfaced.
Cyberpunk 2077 should be released on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and Google Stadia on December 10th.
